For established businesses

MIS reporting and virtual CFO support

A clear monthly picture of profit, cash, receivables and margins, prepared from your own books and discussed with you in a review meeting. For owner-run businesses that need finance leadership but not a full-time CFO.

Questions your MIS should answer every month

  • Did we make money last month, and where?
  • Where did the cash go?
  • Who owes us money, and for how long?
  • Are we on budget?
  • Which products, customers or branches earn the most?

What you receive

Built from your existing books and set to a reporting calendar we agree with you.

Profit and loss against budget and last year, balance sheet highlights, cash flow, and a one-page summary of what changed and why.

Dashboard

Your key numbers in Power BI, Looker Studio or Excel, updated monthly or weekly.

Cash-flow forecast

A rolling 13-week view of receipts and payments, so a shortfall shows up early.

  2. Data review

We review the last 12 months of books and fix gaps in how transactions are classified.

  3. KPIs and format

We agree on the KPIs, the report layout and the reporting dates.

Common questions

How is this different from what our accountant does?

Your accountant records transactions and files returns. MIS and CFO support turns those records into management information: what is driving profit, where cash is tied up, and what to do about it.

Do we need to change our accounting software?

Usually not. We work from your existing books and add structure, such as cost centres or ledgers by product or branch, where the reports need it.

Monthly or weekly reporting?

Most businesses start monthly. Businesses with tight cash or fast-moving inventory often add a short weekly update on cash and collections.

Can you help when we approach a bank?

Yes. We prepare projections and CMA data for credit applications and explain them to the lender. The lending decision rests with the bank.

How is our data kept confidential?

Your records are used only for the work you engage us for. Access is limited to the people working on your account, and dashboards are shared only with the people you name.

How are fees decided?

Fees depend on the number of entities and locations, the reports you need and how often. We share a written quote after the discovery call.
